Important Information – Uttar Pradesh Recruitment & Promotion Board will soon take out the recruitment of 243 SI, ASI in the UP Police Department. It is expected that huge vacancy of 243 SI, ASI posts in UP Police is going to come out in the coming next month. Bachelor Degree qualification will be sought for these posts. The age limit can be kept from 21 years to 28 years where SC, ST, OBC category candidates will be given 5-5 years of age relaxation.

Process For UP Police SI, ASI Recruitment 2022 :

The process of new recruitment of SI ASI in UP Police has started. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board on 31 March, issued a tender notice for conducting this recruitment examination. According to the notice, recruitment has been taken for 66 posts of Sub Inspector (Confidential) in UP Police, 143 posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerical) and 34 posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts). The Board has invited tenders through tender from various examination agency companies to conduct the recruitment examination.

In the tender notice, the UP Police Recruitment Board has said that the examination will be conducted through Computer Based Mode (CBT). For which about one lakh candidates are expected to sit in it. After this, 750-750 candidates are expected to sit in Physical Efficiency Test and Computer Typing.

After the completion of the tender process, the examination agency will be selected which will take care of the conduct of this examination. Only after that the notification will be issued and the application process will be started.

Educational Qualification (Tentative) –

SI (Confidential) – Candidates Having Graduation Degree from UGC recognized University/Institute with Typing speed of 25 WPM in Hindi & 30 WPM in English will be eligible for this recruitment.

ASI (Clerk) – Candidates Having Graduation Degree from UGC recognized University/Institute with Typing speed of 25 WPM in Hindi & 30 WPM in English will be eligible for this recruitment.

ASI (Accounts) – Candidates Having B.Com Degree from UGC recognized University/Institute Typing speed of 25 WPM in Hindi will be eligible for this recruitment.
