IBPS Specialist Officer Application Form 2013
IBPS or Institute of Banking Personal Selection has eliminated segregated bank PO recruitment exams from most of the Indian banks. Earlier all banks used to take different exams for recruitment in which students had to invest a lot of money, but in last two years IBPS has replaced this separate exam policy by the mandate of banks. Now students can appear in only IBPS exam and if they clear, they can appear in selection for 20 public sector banks excluding SBI and its associated banks.
IBPS conducts exams for selection of Clerical Cadre, Probationary Officers as well as for the Specialist Officers. Apart from that IBPS also conducts exams for RRBs and many other private banking institutions also accept the IBPS CWE score for their selection. IBPS score card is valid for one year. Notification for IBPS Exam 2013 for Specialist Officers has been declared. Students who get through this exam will be given positions of Technical Officer, Marketing Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Officer, Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari in all the concerned public sector banks.

Dates have not been announced yet, but as per previous year it is expected that the notification will be announced by the end of December, 2012 for online version of IBPS Specialist Officer Application Form 2013.
Criteria related to age:
Candidates applying for the exam must have at least 20 years and below 35 years for the General category as on 01-01-2013. For SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen 5 years upper age relaxation has been given. 10 years upper age relaxation is given to PWD Candidates.
Academic qualification:
Candidate should have a fulltime graduation degree from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks. For different positions, different qualifications such as degree in computer science for IT Scale-1st, Degree in Agriculture for agriculture officer, bachelor degree in law for law officer and graduate degree in Hindi with English is required for Rajbhasha Adhikariis required.
Application Fees:
Application fees of 450 rupees for OBC/General category candidates and 50 rupees for SC/ST/PWD people.
Important dates to be kept in mind:
Dates will be announced shortly for the 2013 version of Common Written Examination.
Exam pattern:
IBPS exam will be written, and total exam time will be of 120 min. Total 200 questions will be asked that will include reasoning-50 marks(50 questions), English Knowledge-25 marks(50 questions), quantitative Aptitude-50 marks(50 questions) and professional knowledge-75 marks(50 questions).
