Important Information – According to the latest updates, Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India launched the Sahara India Refund Portal for the Refunds of depositors. Check More Details on Sarkari Result As per the notification, Online registration & login process for Sahara Refund Portal has started from 18 July 2023. 

Through this portal, The Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS) will disburse the Rs. 5,000 Crores to the legitimate depositors of the Sahara Group of Cooperative Societies. The eligible depositor must check the complete details for Sahara Refund Portal which has given below.

Aim / Purpose of CRCS Sahara Refund Portal – CRCS Sahara Refund Portal is developed to address the genuine claims of the depositors who had invested money in co-operative societies of Sahara Group, which include Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Hamara India Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. and Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd. About 2.5 crore people have deposits of at least Rs 30,000 in Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Hamara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited and Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited.

Eligibility Criteria for CRCS Sahara Refund Portal – The genuine and legitimate Depositors of following four Sahara Societies are eligible for refund through the CRCS Sahara Refund Portal

i) Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Kolkata.

ii) Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Lucknow.

iii) Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Bhopal.

iv) Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, Hyderabad

Eligibility Criteria for Filing a Claim – 

The Depositors must have made deposits & have outstanding dues receivable
before the following dates, for filing a claim request :

22nd March 2022 for – 

1. Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Kolkata.

2. Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Lucknow.

3. Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Bhopal.

29th March 2023 for:

1. Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, Hyderabad.

How to Apply for CRCS Sahara Refund – The legitimate depositor may apply online through the official website of The CRCS Sahara Refund Portal from CRCS Sahara Refund by following these simple steps :

Step 1 : Depositor Registration –

Visit the Home Page of CRCS Sahara Refund Portal and click on “Depositor Registration.”

Fill in the details like last 4 digits of your Aadhaar Card, and mobile number linked with Aadhaar, on the Registration Page.

Click on “Get OTP” and enter the OTP received.

Click “Verify OTP” to complete the mandatory registration
process.

Step 2 : Depositor Registration –

Visit the Home Page of CRCS Sahara Refund Portal and click on “Depositor Login”

Fill in the details like last 4 digits of your Aadhaar Card, and mobile number linked with Aadhaar, on the Registration Page.

Click on “Get OTP” and enter the OTP received.

Click “Verify OTP” to login.

Refund Process & Amount for CRCS Sahara Refund – In the initial phase, the refund portal will disburse up to Rs 5,000 crore to depositors. Each depositor will be able to get a maximum of Rs 10,000 in the first phase. Initially, Rs 10,000 will be returned to investors on a trial basis, the refund amount will be increased if the trial is successful.
