Assam Teachers Eligibility Test will be conducted by Assam Government in accordance with the rules offered by Central Regulating Authorities. This test is meant for all those who wish to make a career in imparting education to young kids. The examination invites application from candidates who would like to teach students studying in Class I to V or studying in Class VI to VIII. The notification of this examination is released by Education Department. For all those candidates who have already cleared Bachelor of Education Examination, appearing in this examination is compulsory. The selected candidates will teach in schools located in Assam. Candidates should fill Bihar Teachers Eligibility Test Application Form.

Academic Criteria

# Candidates who are interested to apply for jobs in teaching at a primary level in order to teach first to fifth classes should clear Sn Sec exam with at least 45 percent marks;

# Those candidates are also eligible to appear for this test who are giving

–      Last year examination of the 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education;

–      4 Year Elementary Education Bachelor’s Degree;

–      2 Year Special Education Diploma

–      Candidates who possess a Bachelor in Science/Bachelor in Arts with at least 50 percent marks;

–      Students who possess a Bachelors in Education qualification;

Pattern of Examination

# The test will encompass 2 question papers;

# Questions that are Objective Type will be asked;

# There will be 150 MCQ in each paper;

# 1 ½ hour is the time taken in the examination;

# The Application Form is available at the official website at www.ctet.nic.in

# The form should be filled accurately

# Candidates who wish to appear for Lower Primary Teacher posts, only Paper I needs to be cleared

# Candidates who wish to appear for Upper Primary Teacher posts, only Paper II needs to be cleared

# Candidates who wish to appear for both, Upper as well as Lower Primary Teachers Posts, both Paper I and II need to be cleared
