About-
Anna University is grand and strong pillar of educational empire of southern India situated in the Chennai. Basically its science and technology departments are very strong, producing national and international giants of their time. It fulfills the need of the industrial hub of the south India by creating talents of matching quality. College of Engineering, it has three distinctive institute or colleges which are autonomous in nature, Madras Institute of Technology, Alagappa College, School of architecture.
University has two campuses to be sited, which includes itself institute like Sugar Research Institute, NIFT, Convention Center of the University. In year 2011 government conferred the status of affiliated university and all engineering colleges private or government came into its fold to be administrated.
