WBJEE 2015 Details of Eligibility, Application & Selection Procedure at wbjeeb.nic.in
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has declared through an official advertisement released at website regarding conduct of the examination held for admissions to various courses available under state universities participating in the concerned entrance examination. The applicants from all parts of India participate every year in the exam concerned for taking admissions into several engineering and medical courses offered through it. The exam for the current academic year i.e. 2015-16 is scheduled to be conducted on 18th April 2015 and 19th April 2015 respectively at designated centres of examination in West Bengal.

Details of WBJEE Exam 2015-
Name of Exam: West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam
Conducting Organization: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board
Courses of Admission: Medical & Engineering Courses
Eligibility for Exam:
The applicants should fulfill the domicile eligibility as needed for all reserved seats under states quota. The general category seats in state aided universities and self financing institutions offering engineering and pharmacy courses will not require the domicile eligibility. Refer official notification for knowing details of domicile eligibility. The applicants must be Intermediate/ Class 12th passed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects to participate in the concerned examination.

Schemata of Exam:
There is objective type multiple choice based questions asked in the concerned examination from the subjects concerned in the manner as stated below.
1)Mathematics: Category 1: 60 questions of 1 mark each; Category 2: 10 questions of 2 mark each and Category 3: 10 questions of 2 marks each
Total Marks Allotted: 100
2) Biological Sciences: Category1: 90 questions of 1 mark each; Category 2: 15 questions of 2 marks each and Category 3: 15 questions of 2 marks each
Total Marks Allotted: 150
3)Physics –Chemistry: Category 1: 60 Questions of 1 mark each; 10 questions of 2 marks each and Category 3: 10 questions of 2 marks each
Total Marks Allotted: 100
Manner of Selection:
The applicants will be selected on the basis of eligibility criteria specified for each course available and merit obtained in entrance exam.
Application Procedure:
Online application forms should be submitted at the website of board from 30th December 2014 by all eligible applicants in the manner as prescribed for this purpose.
